These Terms of Service govern access to Venussian's authentication and identity verification services. They are written for corporate customers using our infrastructure for lawful authentication, verification, account protection, and related security workflows.
Acceptance Flow
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Venussian, the customer agrees to these Terms on behalf of its business or organization. If the person accepting these Terms does not have authority to bind the customer, the services may not be used.
- Agreement is formed through signup, contract execution, API use, or continued access.
- These Terms apply to business customers and authorized personnel using the services.
- Separate commercial documents may supplement these Terms for pricing or service scope.
Service Description
Venussian provides Identity Verification Services, including authentication, verification, OTP delivery, account security tooling, and related technical infrastructure. The services are intended to support lawful authentication and verification use cases operated by corporate customers.
Venussian provides authentication and verification services, including one-time password (OTP) delivery.
- Services may include APIs, dashboards, integrations, logs, and support tooling.
- Features may evolve as security, reliability, or compliance requirements change.
- The customer remains responsible for its own products, content, and end-user interactions.
Accounts and Security
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, limiting access to authorized personnel, and protecting API keys, dashboards, and connected environments. Venussian may suspend access if it detects misuse, abnormal traffic, or material security risk.
- Use strong authentication and restrict access to trained staff.
- Notify Venussian promptly of suspected credential compromise or unauthorized access.
- Customers are responsible for actions taken through their accounts unless caused by Venussian's breach.
Acceptable Use
The services may be used only for lawful use cases and legitimate authentication or verification purposes. Customers may not use, or allow others to use, Venussian infrastructure for phishing, spam, deceptive messaging, credential harvesting, fraud, or other abusive conduct.
The service may not be used for unsolicited messaging, spam, or abusive communication.
- No spam, phishing, spoofing, malware delivery, or social engineering campaigns.
- No unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful traffic through Venussian systems.
- No attempts to bypass rate limits, monitoring, or security controls.
- Customers must obtain any notices, permissions, or consents required by law.
- Users must comply with all applicable telecommunications and messaging regulations.
Fees and Billing
Paid services are billed according to the applicable order form, subscription, usage schedule, or written commercial agreement. Unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement, fees are non-refundable after the relevant billing period begins.
- Pricing, invoicing terms, and payment methods may be defined in separate commercial terms.
- Taxes, duties, and similar charges are the customer's responsibility unless required otherwise by law.
- Venussian may suspend paid services for overdue invoices after notice.
Intellectual Property
Venussian and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the services, software, documentation, branding, and related materials. The customer retains ownership of its own data, systems, prompts, templates, and business content.
- The customer receives a limited, non-exclusive right to use the services during the term.
- No rights are granted to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create competing services from the platform.
- Feedback may be used by Venussian to improve the services without separate compensation.
Availability and Changes
Venussian works to maintain secure and reliable operations, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. The platform may be updated, patched, or modified to improve performance, security, authentication quality, verification accuracy, or regulatory compliance.
- Maintenance, incidents, third-party provider issues, or force majeure may affect service performance.
- Material changes to these Terms may be communicated by website update, dashboard notice, or email.
- Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Disclaimers and Liability
Except as required by applicable law, the services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Venussian does not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every regulatory framework or customer workflow.
- Customers remain responsible for the legality of their own products and communications.
- Venussian is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venussian's aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid for the affected services in the prior 12 months.
Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship according to the applicable commercial agreement or, if none exists, upon reasonable written notice. Venussian may suspend or terminate access immediately for phishing, spam, fraud, unlawful use, security abuse, or material breach of these Terms.
- Termination does not relieve the customer of outstanding payment obligations.
- Rights that naturally survive termination continue, including IP, liability limits, and dispute clauses.
- Post-termination data handling is addressed in the Privacy Policy and any data processing terms.
